Madison Festivals, Inc. is a registered 501c(3) non-profit organization. Our purpose is to bring together people, business, and charities through world-class events that positively impact the community.  To date, Madison Festivals has donated over $2.1 million back into our community. We are proud of the community we live in and committed to making a difference locally.

Every event Madison Festivals produces is a non-profit fundraising event and we are honored to partner with numerous local charitable organizations through our events.

Madison Festivals owns and operates the Taste of Madison and the Madison Marathon. Event profits are donated directly to our charity partners, event volunteer groups, granted through the MFI community grant program, and reinvested in the events. When you attend and support one of the above events you directly support people living and working in Dane County.

Madison Festivals was incorporated on April 5, 1993, and was formed by the Greater Madison Convention & Visitors Bureau (Destination Madison). The corporation was formed exclusively to organize and manage charitable events for the education, participation, and entertainment of the public in the area of Madison, Wisconsin. In addition to the events named above, Madison Festivals also owns the rights to Kites on Ice, Rhythm and Booms, and the Madison Holiday Parade. In addition, MFI owned Run Madtown until 2022 and managed Brat Fest from 2005-2009 and the Kids Expo in 2008 & 2009.

Help us continue to make a difference in the lives of those living and working in Dane County by donating to Madison Festivals today. 100% of the donations made on this page support local non-profit groups!
