Madison Festivals, Inc. is a recognized 501(c)3 organization dedicated to producing unique, fun, and inclusive events that bring people, businesses, and charities together.

Support local charitable organizations through the Volunteer Support Program.
Encourage tourism by extending our reach outside greater Madison.
Taste of Madison
Join 275,000 of your closest friends on Labor Day weekend and celebrate the Taste of Madison, the largest end of the summer picnic on the Capitol Square. Held since 1983, this flagship fundraiser features over 80 restaurants, 26 beverage stands, and four musical stages offering FREE entertainment all weekend. The Taste of Madison is a non-profit fundraising event and relies on the help of hundreds of volunteers. The Taste of Madison is honored to donate over $90,000 annually to local groups. In addition, the Taste of Madison is responsible for over $7 million* is direct spending in our community.
Madison Marathon
The Madison Marathon, Half Marathon, and 10K run/walk is held the second Sunday in November. All races begin and finish on Capitol Square. An expo is held on the Friday and Saturday prior to Sunday's race day. The Madison Marathon benefits 45 local charities and non-profits annually, raising $122,350 the past five years.
